Fellow TV aficionados, I have some good news. All those hours spent watching Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky boxsets will finally be put to good use when you reign supreme in the new TV trivia game PREVIOUSLY, ON… GUESS THE TV SERIES.
PREVIOUSLY, ON… is a new fun and original TV trivia game that challenges players to identify the TV show from just three visual clues. Illustrated by Swedish artist Cajsa Holgerson, the after-dinner game features 60 double-sided 99 x 75mm flashcards from iconic TV shows such as GAME OF THRONES, THE WEST WING, THE KILLING and BREAKING BAD.
Suitable for one or more players, the aim of the game is to identify the TV show from the three visual clues on the front of each card. Simply show the front of the card to your opponent and see if they can they guess which TV series the three illustrations represent.
Holgersson’s colourful illustrations are intriguing enough to keep you guessing, without being too hard. Each illustration uses different elements from the TV show, such as characters, symbols and props, to keep you on your toes. On the back of each card there is also a TV trivia fact, goof and quote from each show.
While PREVIOUSLY, ON… is sure to be a hit with TV fans aged 16+, you do need to be a hardcore boxset fan to play the game properly. Most of the cards represent TV shows from the past five years and almost all of the shows are American, so unless your family and friends are secret Neflix bingers, the game might not be suitable for everyone.
Like other visual games such as LOGO or SCENE IT, once you’ve played PREVIOUSLY, ON… a couple of times, you’re also likely to remember the answers. As such, the game is more of a one-off after-dinner challenge than a serious card game.
That said, PREVIOUSLY, ON… is an ideal gift for TV aficionados everywhere and a fun-filled way for the Netflix generation to put their TV knowledge to the test.
