Symphonica and Mr Switch to headline the two-day festival
LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL has announced its return at Rich Mix in London on 5 and 6 February 2016.
20 piece orchestra Symphonica and DMC World DJ Champion Mr Switch will headline the two-day festival, alongside electronic Palestinian collective 47SOUL, afro-fusion group K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade and folk-hop and barrellhouse-pop band Honeyfeet.
Showcasing the best in Latin Grooves, Afrobeats, Tropical Bass, Vintage-Remix, Urban Roots and Brass Band Remix, LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL (LRF) is a celebration of the best emerging musical talent that London has to offer.
With its in-door camping areas, silent disco café and highly popular, fully converted disco lift, LRF 2016 is the best festival starter of 2016 with performances from over 25 cutting edge bands and DJs, over 2 days and across 4 stages. Check out some of the highlights from last year below:
Continental Drifts, the producers behind Glastonbury’s legendary Shangri-La stage, will join forces with long standing musical partners Movimientos, Wormfood, Two for Joy, Woodburner and Polka Club for the festival.
Continental Drifts will also team up with CM Sounds on the Friday to offer aspiring music makers free ‘Remix Workshops’ with professional music production tutors and established music producers.
