CD Review: I Love House by Ministry of Sound

Ministry-of-Sound-I-Love-House

I Love House by Ministry of Sound will make you want to hit the dance floor

I Love House by Ministry of Sound is the perfect soundtrack to the Summer.

The sexy lips on the album cover entice you but you only have to hear the first few seconds of track one and you’re already gripped. The album is full of feel- good, funky fresh house music. With every song on this 3 disc compilation, it makes you want to shake your booty and hit that dance floor or be leaving it all behind on the White Isle.

Disc one features popular chart toppers like Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne’s Real Love, Sam Smith’s Money on my Mind and Dukes Dumont’s Need U (100%) which will never get old. A particular favourite on this disc is Luvbug Revive (Say Something), which has a really cool groove.

The second disc kicks off with the huge club anthem Oliver Heldens Last All Night and boasts hits such as Tchami Promesses Gorgon City Ready For Your Love and Ben Pearce What I Might Do. As well as featuring some of the more well-known house tunes of the moment, this cd throws out a few hidden gems as well such as Mercey Turn It Up and Denney Low Frequency.

The final disc ends the album perfectly with some more chilled out vibes like Chris Malinchak So Good To Me, Zhu Faded and Klinglande Jubel. The songs in this selection will leave you in no doubt as to whether you love house.
